10 mins | free | Get started

Initial Visit/Intake

Online or in-person, this time will be spent gathering information about your child, including a detailed history, what brings you to Hive, and what your goals are. At the conclusion, we will determine if psychological testing/evaluation or treatment is appropriate, and what that might entail.

60-90 mins | $240

Evaluation

Fees for psychological testing/evaluation at Hive are determined by the complexity and anticipated duration of testing, factors influenced by the child’s age, referral question, and specific testing requirements. For instance, evaluating older children typically demands more time due to their advanced skill sets. To streamline the process and provide clarity for clients, Hive implements a value-based pricing structure for all psychological assessments, rather than charging per hour. This approach minimizes uncertainty regarding the total cost of the evaluation.

2 - 6 hrs | $1200 - $2800

  • The value-based pricing generally ranges from $1200 to $2800 and includes:

Additional clinical/diagnostic interview(s) with the caregivers if needed (sometimes with the child/adolescent when relevant and age appropriate)

Interview with collateral informants (when relevant/appropriate)

    Review of available records

    Test administration appointments

Psychologist time spent in scoring/interpretation and report writing

Copies of the final diagnostic evaluation report

    One 60-minute feedback appointment

Treatment

Online or in-person, treatment/intervention appointments focus on parent behavior management training to help reduce challenging behaviors at home and increase adaptive skills.
